Dark Forest Timepiece

Take a step, timepiece in hand, into to the days of smoke & mirror film effects & haunted houses to find yourself in a forest filled with decay & regrowth only to realize this is the present. Look into the grey mirror framed by scrolling ferns & gently rotate the top half of the pendant clockwise to be confronted by death. On the reverse side, birds, snakes, Green Man, mermaids & more peek through between the twisted root wad of a fallen tree & when the brambles rotate, these creatures are replaced with their dark selves amidst an eerie red light glow.

A reminder of the environment destroyed by humans, that life springs from death, but we must take care of Mother Nature because rebuilding takes time. This unique timepiece hangs from a chain made of ferns with nature's creatures nestled throughout and a functional fern shaped clasp.
