WORKSHOP REGISTRATION
Step into the heart of Fiat Lux, where craftsmanship meets curiosity. Our workshops offer an intimate, hands-on experience in the art of jewelry making, guided by the same meticulous standards and poetic vision that define our brand.
On Sunday October 12, we’re hosting jewelry making workshops at the Fiat Lux Mission San Francisco Studio taught by Rainie of Carve & Cast where you can learn to carve your very own ring or pendant starting from jeweler’s wax! The theme of this workshop is skulls, so come with an idea or let the wax inspire you!
The class will start with an overview of the tools you’ll be using and then you dive into creating your own design. Carve and Cast will cast, finish & ship your ring or pendant after you carve the wax. The workshop ticket includes casting one ring or pendant in sterling silver. You will have the option to upgrade to gold at the workshop. We’ll provide all the tools you need for the workshop. Just bring your curiosity, inspiration & excitement!
- Workshop takes place at Fiat Lux Mission 3169 16th St., San Francisco, CA 94103
- Choose the morning session 11am-1:30pm or afternoon session 2:30-5pm
- The workshop lasts around 2.5 hrs
- Casting & finishing takes around 6-8 weeks
- You can choose to have your piece shipped to you or available for pick up at Fiat Lux Fillmore or Fiat Lux Mission once ready
- All attendees must be 16 and older due to the sharp tools we’ll be using
- Attendance for each session is strictly limited to 5.
- Cancellations after 72 hrs before the start of the workshop will not be refunded.
- PLEASE BE ON TIME. Give yourself extra time for traffic/transit delays & parking. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you.

Learn how to make your own one-of-a-kind ring at home! Our Carving Kit includes instructions & tools to carve a ring or pendant from jeweler’s wax. Once you’re ready, pop it in the mail and your finished design will be cast, finished & shipped directly back to you.

- Carving instructions
- 2 gold wax models
- Craft knife (for carving)
- Thumb protector
- Wax carving tool
- Pencil & paper to draw out your designs before carving
- Pre-addressed mailer for sending your wax ring to Carve & Cast.
