Custom-Ish is where you get to choose your own stones for an existing Fiat Lux design (see list of styles & past examples below): Maybe you’re looking for a specific precious gem & want us to source one for you; or you have an heirloom stone you’d like to use; or you have fine jewelry you don’t wear anymore (hello pairless earring turned Third Eye).
All Custom-ish projects require a $1500 non-refundable deposit that commits us to working with you from start to finish & beyond. Pricing is laid out clearly based on each option we present throughout the design process. The final cost of the piece is based on the chosen design, details, and stones (if any). Once the custom piece(s) is completed, the remainder of the balance is due.
It’s always a good idea to start with a transparent idea of your budgets and parameters for the project, that way we can be on the same page with respect to expectations.
Custom-ish Projects on average take 6-8 weeks. If you have a rush, let’s talk!

Calypso. We named her after the mythical demi-god who gave Odysseus safe harbor (and then spirited him away as hers & only hers) because of the dreamlike quality of the center stone. A rectangular cut (read: Asscher, princess, emerald, French, step etc) stone of your choice flanked by baguette diamonds.

Using Your Own Stone(s)
We can incorporate a customer’s own stone in many cases, depending on the stone itself and piece it’s destined for. If you’re local to San Francisco, we have recommendations for appraisal partners we frequently work with. Appraisal reports must be recent (within 1 year).
