Advertising graphic creative turned jeweler, Frederico Castrillón founded La Libertad in 2009 in a quest to find freedom from the restrictions of the corporate world. Hand painted enamel earrings draw inspiration from nature, history, mythology and human psychology, exploring jewelry as amulets. Each piece is handmade in the La Libertad's Medellín, Colombia studio.
