Lingua Nigra

Lingua Nigra, by Alicia Goodwin is sculptural, organic, modern, urban, a study in contrasts as the textures of her work, reticulated and etched by acid, stand in distinction to the rich, gold color of the metal. No two pieces are precisely the same, as the methods force the individual object's transformation. Working in New York City, Alicia as been making jewelry since childhood, earned a degree at SUNY's Fashion Institute of Technology, realizing that her work in metal was her true calling.
