vintage goat hammer
What the actual hell. Patented by Mitteldorfer Straus in the late 20s and marked 1928, apparently they were used as the world’s first cereal box surprises. Farmers would give these heavy brass hand cast hammers away to entice their sales, as in “if you buy this sack of flour now, I’ll even throw in a goathammer.”
Note that this item is vintage and final sale.
